Warmer weather is coming, and that means smoothie season! Bulle de Fruit is a juice, smoothie and coffee bar located near Hôtel de Ville.

Bulle de Fruit features fruit and vegetable cocktails, freshly-squeezed juices and smoothies made with your choice of low-fat milk, yogurt or soy milk. Their menu includes the usual suspects such as bananas, oranges, apples, mango, strawberries and carrots, and also a few more interesting items such as apricots, coconut, beets, cucumbers and pear. Prices range from 3.70 euros to 6.80 euros.

Time to fruit up!

Realizing that the purpose of this blog is to inform you of food-related topics of interest for American expats in Lyon, I'm going to deviate slightly on this post. After all, who doesn't love a good deal and an excuse for a date night?

This weekend is the tenth annual edition of Printemps du Cinéma across France. On Sunday the 22nd, Monday the 23rd and Tuesday the 24th, movie theaters across the country are tickets for all films and all showings at 3.50 euros.

Easy to carry, this insulated container holds 12 cups of freshly brewed 100% Arabica coffee. It comes with cups, lids, sugar, milk, stirrers and napkins. The container keeps your Starbucks coffee hot for up to two hours.
